FAQs

  • Q: How does Keeping Pace work and who is it for?

A: We specialize in programs for children with processing disorders and other learning difficulties like dyslexia/dysgraphia/dyscalculia, adhd, and receptive/expressive language disorders. The way we find out which program is the right fit and get a holistic view of each child is by going through a cognitive and academic assessment. From this, we learn more about strengths, weaknesses, and which of our methods/programs will lead to the fastest progress.

  • Q: Do you provide your own programs to work through or offer homework help?

A: Yes, we first and foremost offer one-on-one intervention in our specialized programs. All of our programs are cognitive based with academic skills built in. We can offer homework help, however that is not our main priority.

  • Q: How many days or hours per week is usually required?

A: This is dependent on what we learn from the assessment. But, we usually recommend 4.5 hours per week which is broken up into three 90 minute sessions.

  • Q: How does scheduling work?

A: Your student will be assigned to their personal trainer that they will see and work with each week. Because of this, we can be very flexible with days and times as long as it works for your child’s trainer. Rescheduling and completing makeups also just have to be arranged between yourself and the trainer.

  • Q: Are you a charter school vendor?

A: No, we are not a vendor for any charter schools at this time.
